From the Harold Hendel Estate – A.C. Gilbert Erector Set #7 from 1924. In this serious collector of vintage Gilbert, this historic box is a beauty. It is made of varnished wood with a three piece lid construction, four dovetailed corners and recessed brass grips. Outside lid has beautiful stencil in gold, red and black. Inside lid has No 7 stenciled in silver. This box has a fine original finish and is in very good condition with origianl parts – even the red cardboard signal arms are original – a rarety. Completely inventoried and organized. Original contents list and five original organizers (plus one small repro tray). The P58 is reconditioned. Manual M1524 (correct?). This is a great classic set, extraordinary.
